I like this simple design, that groove on the follower plunger, held by a grub screw, really minimizes the part count. And you didn't have to make the keeper cap that required an OD and ID thread. I thought you folks up there in Canada were fully metric. :D I don't understand why we never completed the conversion. I see your comments about lapping the part have you preempting the safety police beating on you about getting your hands too close to the spinning chuck......

Thanks. I like to keep things simple when I can. I'm 61 so was just on the cusp of metric conversion in schools. I escaped to the military and hung on to the imperial system like it was a warm pizza. And I've got 2 golden retrievers at the shop door ready to pounce and lick the safety police into submission. lol
