Tape Hiss and Noise Removal with Reaper DAW

I had a big problem getting the tape noise out of a series of recordings i had on cassette from 40 years ago....i copied what you done exactly, even the eq settings...worked PERFECTLY!!! I very highly recommend this tutorial...thank you very much.

Can this be used during live monitor of sound? Or only after its been recorded?

Only after capturing a tape recording. If you need to reduce hum noise during live performance, use gate hardware units. Behringer has a great cheap one with 4 separate gates in one. If guitars, buy a gate pedal.

Cloud I just delete the noises instead of removing it? It's the same, right.

Teng Vang The noise removal works also during the song and not just between song tracks captured from the cassette tape, if that's what you mean by deleting..

an excellent tutorial on how not to do tutorials, you waste the first 4 minutes, why not edit these videos??there are plenty of free video editors out there.

hifijohn not sure what you mean. Please explain. Regardless, I like to make sure that I include all relevant information, how, why and things required before simply just showing it done.
