Having played FF8 (and every FF for that matter) - This is a true statement :) It just has some air of epic-ness about it, and it can loop forever, to this day I still don't think I've heard if there even is an "end" to this music until Goldberg walks off, and they just have to fade it down :')

People say he came back and buried current talent, even though he lost almost half his matches in his second run. I liked it, and it was nice to see one of the old attitude era guys be in good shape and put on some decent matches even though he was pretty old by wrestling standards. As far as returns go, his and Steve Austins are very high up in my book

The sad thing was that Goldberg wasn't allowed to do anything beyond spears and Jackhammers during his later matches. I know full well that if Goldberg had been allowed to wrestle a bit slower matches, and use his full repertoire (which included a slew of martial-arts moves, slams, suplexes and submissions), he'd have had a much more solid presence. The main reason Goldberg got blown up so fast was due to having to just spear spear spear Jackhammer. Punches, kicks, the occasional slam/suplex would've allowed Goldberg to have more wind during his matches.

I agree, I was watching WCW when I was pretty young, and he was always one of my favourites, and I've since learned through following wrestling properly as an adult that he used to bounce around a lot between promotions - but like, always being a "high-mid card" wrestler, always someone to be feared, he was great :)

I agree. Bam Bam was over 400 pounds, yet could do top-rope moves like moonsaults and dropkicks, as well as slingshot over the ropes for ringside dives, and even do friggin' CARTWHEELS as a way to dodge opponents' attacks. Heavy AND agile? That's a deadly combo!

Goldberg was my favourite wrestler when I was really young (Aside from Bret Hart, and until AJ Styles, Abyss, Raven and John Cena filled that role), but years later, that was no longer the case. I like the CHARACTER of Goldberg, and he seems like a nice guy outside of wrestling, but it's hard for me to ignore the reckless injuries he's inflicted upon his opponents and himself. La Parka, Scott Steiner, Bret Hart, Rene Dupree, Undertaker, they've all been injured because of him.

Fun facts 1. Goldberg is the first and only one to have held WCW World Heavyweight Championship, World Heavyweight Championship (Big Gold), and WWE Universal Championship. 2. Goldberg is one few wrestlers to have held both versions of Universal Championship blue and red. 3. Goldberg defeated Lesnar at Wm 20 in his first and last Wm making undefeated at WrestleMania for thirteen years untill his return to WWE for his second run losing his undefeated streak to his first Wm opponent Lesnar also this was the second streak Lesnar conquered at grandstage of them all. 4. Goldberg was the Rock final opponent in 2003 Backlash ppv (till rock came back for wm 20) fast-forward the Rock's cousin Roman would be Goldberg final opponent (for now)
