I have a 12 inch from the same year still jams. It has less than 100 hours of play time on it. It's like brand new. Not to long after I bought that I bought 2 JL AUDIO W6S 12s and I ran those for years with a 1000 watt Rockford Fosgate Punch amp. The W6S are from 2002 and probably have about 500 hours of play time on them and I still have those today. I stopped playing systems for like 10 years cause I had 3 kids but now their old enough to hear some bass. So I just bought 2 Rockford Fosgate P3D4 12s and a Rockford Fosgate R1200 1D monoblock and I am custom building my box now. So far my bass waves have knocked down 3 five story, and 12 seven story buildings, 5 cafes 9 schools, 2 stadiums and 189 homes , ,. on normal drive-by's outside my work space I've created five sink holes, biggest one a quarter mile wide at just 1/2 volume and at 3/4 volume I have relocated several farm animals back to their normal habitats .. (( I own a demolition business which tests building foundations with bass waves )) . / THE BAD = I forgot to mention that two farm animals went into coma for 3 days and are no longer laying eggs (two chickens),,..also I blew out the only tweeter i had yesterday and I'm getting to many noise complaints from astronauts repairing NASA satellites, they claim my bass is bouncing off the moon after 1 pm causing them to lose concentration.

Subs don’t operate on very high frequency so it doesn’t affect the ear drums as much

HOLY COW! That is insane! A truck load full of subs but making BIG BASS🤯 That kid took it like a champ!😲 That dual 15 (?) system was hitting low AF and seemed to be very responsive! What songs was he playing? Never heard them anywhere before. I don't know my limits since i have never bin to such a car audio show. The loudest bass i've ever heard was on a concert when i was taking pictures from the band i stood right in front of atleast 8 15-18's When the drummer hit the bassdrum DAMN that did hit HARD! Frequency wise i don't know but notes under 40hz at high SPL just always put a smile on my face!🤩😁 The lower the better. I have a 15" Sub in a ported box tuned to 15hz at home and i can even hear 15hz i Couldn't believe it when i first heard it.
