Thank you Renee, I found this video by searching for first self-hatred then, tapping for abandonment. There is so much wisdom and compassion in this video. I'm 75 and just being to deal with these issues using tapping, though I have been aware of them for years. For years I was angry at my mother but as I slowly matured I realized she was the victim of a very intelligent, cruel and hate filled person, the same person who raised me, my grandmother. My mother died a very unhappy person at 47 years old, never ever, dealing with the issues of self-hared installed in her by her mother, choosing to escape through alcohol. I agree that most unloving persons are in some ways taught to be that way but not completely. there are evil people in the world and the damage that they do is terrible and can affect generations. Fortunately there are also millions of loving persons out there. People like yourself are a light, a beacon of love to them. Thank you again for your videos.

Thank you, I've been struggling a lot lately with intrusive thoughts about being the worst person in the world and I recognise that this comes from my childhood, where I was loved to the best of my parents capabilities but I didn't always perceive that I was loved and I was not always kept safe and I couldn't predict how they would react all the time and when I told them about being hurt I was told to keep quiet, so although I didn't feel this video fitted exactly my situation, it was healing and I substituted words where needed, thank you!

I was doing another EFT on being abandoned by others but I enjoy this one so much especially when you said about how I wasn't going to abandon myself that was pretty powerful for me personally because by doing this routine it shows self love by not abandoning ourselves. I wasn't abused per se but my mother got really ill when I was 3 so I assume I felt she abandoned me by leaving, and she came back a totally different person, so even when she returned, she wasn't there. So I just take these EFT perspectives from my 3 year old perspective and it helps. I have a vert deep rooted abandonment wound anyway, so let's see if doing this a few times can help
