exactly i was very moved by his vocal parts when he sings the mellow verses also i love the groove in those parts the guitar parts sound so melodic and beautiful in those parts. also in 2 parts at the ends of the verses where the singers sing together they sound just like alice in chains.

@@Treychik technically there's still good nu metal. Cane Hill, Charcoal Tongue, My Ticket Home, Headcave (MTH's lead singer's other group), Ded, Afterlife, SHVPES, Into The Void, and Loser all have good songs close to the old school nu metal. The early 2000s were amazing for rock fans. Honestly until recently I never realized the split in genres. Taproot was Nu-Metal, Simple Plan and New Found Glory were Pop Punk, Godsmack was post grunge, My Chemical Romance and Hawthorne Heights were emo but I never differentiated any of them. I just loved rock. And still do. AND miss seeing it on the Grammys now with this new wave of music they call rap? At least Snoop Dogg and Eminem and Dre and them had it bearable. This new stuff? We gotta go back

Very true, I've always liked a mix of music myself and you wrote it perfectly, for me at least. 90's and 00's were a beautiful time for music, a culmination of almost every era, and these days most music sounds the same, to me. Very few and far between are the original sounding artists, sadly. The awards ceremonies don't mean shit, even the Nobel Prize, these days, its just a scam to make more money from people and exploit/influence the public. Like you wrote, "we gotta go back", to a time music was made for expressing one's self and saying something true, rather than making profit off of others.
