I’m blown away by spiritual parenting. I’ve been doing this work to open my heart to myself. My suffering softened my heart enough so that I can feel my love of self! I will do this over and over again. Not perfection but rather CONNECTION. Thank you for being the blanket of compassion and understanding. ❤🙏

May I recommend Tim Fletcher’s six part series podcasts on KZbin on Shame and Complex Trauma to listen to. Combined with your teachings, it is even more powerful. What an eye opener. I had no idea it was so pervasive! At 71, however, I can’t help but think my life is already over and it makes me question sometimes what I am doing all this work for, except for a few moments of peace.

I loved Tim Fletcher until I heard in one of those videos that ADHD isn't real, that it's demonic possession. I grew up in that religious fundamentalism and medical denial/neglect and have cPTSD from it. He is not qualified as a mental health professional yet he speaks authoritatively. Be careful about who you let influence you in the recovery process.

Self nurturing and self compassion are such powerful healing tools. I started using both by imagining my small child self desperately needing to be held whenever I would get triggered by something. Then holding her and giving her love and saying kind, reassuring words. It’s the best way I’ve found to sooth my sympathetic NS and regulate my parasympathetic NS. Thank you Tara ❤️

I have always felt worthy but not valued. I remember attachment wounding in childhood and can extrapolate my own worth from their inability to value me. I don't want to invest in or belong to a society that doesn't value me. I'm autistic. Suicide rate 13x higher in my community. Having the gift of deeper awareness is almost a punishable crime in these toxic social structures. There's no therapy for this. Just isolation and self reliance, safety over false connection.

And no words on anti white societal degradation, and antisemitism. But of course, they don't need to be saved. Each nation has its own history of trauma. each nation, but no one ever is tought to ever need compassion. it's very weird. In my country, there were Two world wars, ghettos, labour camps, abusive secret police, PLUS my own life traumas. They put black people as leaders of everything and don't let jews in pain attend YOGA class.
