So we're (discounting) Black related movies as less than even though (as you say) not crossover? Smh Denzel Washington did 2 Spike Lee Black films (Mo' Betta Blues and Malcolm X) after he wins his first Oscar Award in Glory and he was able to do as you say (Crossover Films). Hollywood has never been fair or right to Black actors for decades. We all know that. Taraji deserves a pay bump especially being on Empire which is a Black related TV show.

I can't imagine working 6 years without a raise when everything around you is study sky rocketing upward therefore requiring you to have more money. Items I brought for $3.99 in the earlier part of last year were $5.49 by the end of the year. So now what will that same item cost this year! When your'e single and only have you to depend on its very frustrating sometimes. My hope is that she won't be blackballed for speaking her truth just like Monique was. Instead I hope they will hear her cry because she said shes thought about quiting and if we lose her we've lost one of the greats and we lose her we will have lost another person that looks like us...an African American woman.
