I’m not sure which kojic acid you are using but some are oil soluble and some are water soluble and they may have specific formulating regulations, but I can’t say for sure without knowing what kind you have. Also this is a wash off product so I wouldn’t waste the expensive ingredient in this

Hi Tara. Can you tell me the difference between pouring the oil phase into the water phase vs pouring the water phase into the oil phase. It’s confusing to me and I don’t understand what happens to formulas if it’s mixed the wrong way. And the part about mixing the micas with glycerin is a great piece of advice. Thank you for that.

Bloop is an accurately technical term here lol I love everything about this, I want to eat the colors, they're so lovely here I think I might swap some (definitely not all) of the SCI for SLSa (sodium lauryl sulfoacetate) to give the foam a little more fluff. Are you using transferable labels? If so, are you making them yourself. I’ve been using clear labels but they tend to smudge.

I’m not sure what transferable labels are. But mine don’t smudge. Are you using a laser printer? If not then that is why they are smudging. Try a laser printer instead of inkjet. The letters do sometimes scrap off though. So that can be annoying.

I made it cotton candy and coffee sugar scrub with the same recipe and it was too good. Foamy yet too hydrated. I just added vitamin E as a preservative instead of tristate ECO and Cocoa butter as Shea butter was nit available at that moment so I increased the distilled water because cocoa butter was making it harder. Perfect ingredients and quantity! I'll try it with shea butter next time!
