@@TaraLeee I know this question is off topic, here goes! What is the proper way to dissolve Hydroquinone powder please? It doesn’t dissolve in water. I tried Propandiol and it worked. On Lab Alley’s site, it also said one can use Ethol Alcohol (denatured) which is food grade and Methanol. Thank You even if you don’t have an answer. 🌹

I have made 4 different types of serums using hyaluronic acids and choose which 1 I want to follow up with, in the morning. But to answer your question, No it cannot be used as a serum. It is a mask. You can wash it off after 20 minutes or let it dry and go to sleep and wash it in the morning.

Hi Tara, something very important about these masks I wanted to address. I made the mask exactly as you stated. I didn't add the sodium hydroxide to it yet & I tried the mask & my face started burning. Do you think it's due to not adding the lye? I read that a low ph in skin can cause burning, inflammation, & skin irritation. Do you think the lye will solve the burning sensation?
