4.7 ohms with the 180N transistors for the power supply. Don't forget to check the gate drive before the 180N transistors go in as the gate drive IC usually gets cooked when there is a supply failure.

@@awaazhoosein6565 They originally used 10 ohms for the 1404 I think. Sorry, I don't memorize a lot of things.

Hi I have an issue with channel 4 on my amp. I saw a flash through the holes om the amp and channel 4 stopped working. Is this something that I could possibly repair myself. I do and a good multimeter and a oscilloscope to check parts.
@ellensburgamplifier7 ай бұрын
You sure can! Since you have a scope you will be able to identify the issues quickly if you are familiar with repairing these. Fingers crossed that the drive IC is ok. In a lot of cases, all you need to do is to replace the output transistors if there is no gate fault.

Goodday Sir i bought a damage Mmaths CX6 crossover and i wanted some information on the power supply part of the circuit,was looking online for information on it but not getting any information on so i don't know if u could help me out i'm from the Caribbean 🇹🇹 Trinidad
@ellensburgamplifier Жыл бұрын
I can try my best to help but I am not familiar with the power supply of that crossover. The good thing is that most all power supplies are quite simple by design. Has the supply failed in your crossover?
@RAS1_8886 Жыл бұрын
@@ellensburgamplifier When i bought the crossover it was not working .When i opened it i saw a part was removed from the bord ,from the symbol on the bord i could tell that the part that was removed is a inductor or coil but i dont know if its a drum inductor coil
@ellensburgamplifier Жыл бұрын
@@RAS1_8886 That will be unfortunate if the original inductor value is unknown. Is the inductor part of the power supply circuit? If you have a picture of the board you can email it to me. service@ellensburgamplifier.com and I may be able to figure out the topology.

Hello. I've been following you for a long time. You are quite successful. there would be a problem. I have a type 4 class d car amplifier. It malfunctioned. When the output mosfets are disconnected, the signals are normal. Whenever I want to plug in the output mosfets (solid) and turn them on. The amplifier flashes the LEDs quickly. It's like an amplifier being charged for the first time. Then it burns the mosfets. Do you have a suggestion? Thank you.

Which amplifier are you working on? Do you have a scope?

@@tolgahancoban7591 Pull those 640s and fire it back up. What do you see for the low side and high side drive? Also double check that inductor closely for any burn marks as they tend to short from vibration.
