Taran was a totally underrated cast member on SNL. I definitely hope he is invited to host one day.

Yeah, but he got more screentime there than he ever did when he was on MADtv (does ANYONE here besides me remember when he was on MADtv?). It was 5 to 6 years on SNL versus half a season on MADtv, with the highlight being a music video parody featuring Will Sasso, Michael McDonald, and Aries Spears, who were already dominating the show. The other was Taran as Prince William judging a cage match between two commoner women who want him. Pretty sure KZbin has both sketches, since that's the only place you can see MADtv sketches now (they were on HBO Max until the WB/Discovery merger and subsequent name/programming changes).

I will say it every time Taran is in a video, it was a crime not renewing his SNL contract, he was one of the very best!

Hey, SNL treated him better than MADtv ever did in terms of keeping him on the show. And why is no one showing the same lament for Jay Pharaoh getting cut from the show? No disrespect to Chris Redd or Devon Walker, but Jay Pharaoh had a better handle on celebrity impressions.

I still remember seeing Spamalot in London and as soon as the opening bars of Always Look on the Bright Side of Life played, the ENTIRE audience burst into applause and cheers and the actors playing Arthur and Patsy broke the 4th wall before starting the song with the biggest grins on their faces. So glad the show's back! :D Taran's an awesome casting choice for Lancelot!!!

Before I deployed to Iraq in 05, my wife and I saw Spamalot on Broadway and I still have my shirt "not dead yet". This REALLY makes me want to make a trip back to NY with the whole family to see this! Also, I would love to see him as George! Hamilton slaps!!! Took the family to see it in Anchorage and it was so insane I went 3 more times!
