Love the Tarantula community all over the world. I myself have 2 P.Metalicas, 1 T.Albopilosus and just acquired a K.Brunnipes and a N.Chromatus.I will be adding 2 T.Seladonias in the near future.

Great tour stuart. Any plans to breed at all? Not sure how big the hobby is in S.A. so not sure what kind of prices or demand there is for them. You have got a lot of mature female spiders though!

@@Patriots41793 thank you so much. My collection is not that big in comparison to our breeders and traders here in SA. The hobby is growing for sure here. I’m not into breeding, more collecting, it’s kinda an addiction as such 😂 The more I learn, I like to pass info out to people new in the hobby to assist them.

What an incredible room tour! Your collection is absolutely stunning, and it’s amazing to see the variety of species you keep. I especially loved seeing the Chaco Golden Knees and the Brazilian Black-such iconic tarantulas! Do you have a personal favorite species in your collection? 😊

@@birdspiders thank you so much. Really appreciate the feedback and for tuning in. In terms of a favorite- that becomes very difficult to answer, as keeping tarantulas can become and obsession for a lot of us- lol 😂 I would say, in terms of what I have in my collection, I would break it down into two categories. First category would be the more rare and expensive tarantulas, and that would go to the robustum Second category would be more of the more common tarantulas in the SA hobby- I would have to say the GBB, but very closely followed by the Sazaimi, then the giant white knee and giant blonde. What species is your personal favorite?

@ currently it's M. robustum for me as I have seen them in nature and also keep them at home. But P. muticus comes close second :)

@ oh wow, that must have been something to behold. Do you have a video link of the M robustum if you did footage of one in the wild? I’ve never had a P Muticus, but must try get one. I believe the M Robustum lives in a different climatic conditions or Mountainous habitats varying from hot to cold and can be very difficult to breed. Is this true?
