I loved all 3, but the Praying I was raying Mantis are at the top of my list. I see them around my house frequently, but I still get so excited to see one. They are so friendly, especially the little baby ones. I had some growing in my grape vines last summer, I could go out and call for them and they would come out and to say hello. I know it sounds crazy, but it happened.

Kevin Young of Moonlight Mantids had posted a video on mantis care. He said the more macabre mantids with their very delicate & busier body parts tend to require more humidity to experience complete sheds during the molting cycles. I like the approach on that Dead Leaf mantis enclosure, but it may be too much air flow. Just sharing.

the mantis enclosure is cool, but if its chillin on the cork you glued to the lid when its feeding time its gunna get dizzy haha, unless you added a feeder flap to the lid.

Was this a fossorial T? I think I've seen Tom Moran use the flooding method before. And of course it is used to bring wild Ts out of their burrows. They probably react better than I would if I got flooded out of my home. Since she ate, I would say she wasn't too stressed out.

Might be pre molt .. try leaving a cricket in for a few hrs or try placing the food directly in his claw. If that doesn’t work pre kill something and leave it nearby for it to find

These guys are bastards lmfao. My Mexican red knee I just pick up, crawls right into my hands. Super easy to rehouse, move for cage maintenance, my Starburst Baboon wants to fight every time I open his lid. Very energetic species. Definitely gives me a test for my reflexes every time.
