Velvet spiders are probably the cutest thing on Earth...Other then jumping spiders. You can't beat a jumping spider in terms of cuteness! Pls don't kill me velvet spider lovers I love them too (but jumping spiders are still cuter)

I adore Wednesday, such a beautiful velvet spider, but look at Peaches! What a gorgeous girl! Love the mushroom ornaments and I'm a big fossil fan myself. I've been thinking about getting my first T for a while but I've been uncertain and thought maybe a Velvet or jumping spider would be a good first call instead. Anyway, loving the new enclosures!

Generally I’m scared of most spiders. Exceptions include jumping spiders, tarantulas, orb weavers (ones with round abdomens because I don’t like the long abdomen ones), and any tiny, slow, colorful spiders I see. That last one is purely because I once found this itty bitty BRIIIGHT orange spider that was building a night web. I studied it for awhile and then checked up every night, unfortunately since it was a nighttime spider I rarely caught it building it’s web when it was bright enough to truly see the colors but thankfully being on a hill helped add a little extra light before the sun went fully down. It was at the same time I was keeping the porch light on to attract moths so let’s just say the lil thing got preeeeetty fat fast!

Where is everyone getting the green moss? Has it a specific name? All I use is sphagnum but I love that pop of colour. Edit: After doing a little searching I believe itncould be Zoo Med Terrarium moss.. Not 100% but it's all I have found so far. Doesn't look to be readily available in Aus so i have ordered some from the US.

Hi kate i use same sought of tube with my old worlds im from australia..if u drill a hole in the end of the tub u can get a straw in the hole to get the spider out easier i found is a massive help...

When cleaning things with mold on it you should wash them thoroughly, because there’s a possibility that they would still have mold spores on them. If you don’t get all the mold spores off the mold could reappear

I am researching and intend to get my first tarantula. I have two bioactive Leo gecko enclosures and a bioactive for my western hognose snake. Can you use springtails in tarantula enclosures to help with the mold/fungus issues, or will they bother the tarantula? I love decorating naturalistic enclosures and your videos has really helped me with picking the habitat and decor. 🕸🕷❤️
