As awesome as Jurassic park is, Hollywood took some liberties in the depiction of the velozi raptor. Meaning that the majority of people think that is what it was like. In reality, they were no larger than a fair sized medium to large dog, and were covered in feathers much like the micro raptor. The depiction of the raptor in Jurassic park is closer to the deinonychus, the only difference being that the deinonychus was also feathered.

Unfortunately, as most documentaries are, its highly innacurate. For example, the Velociraptors are in the right time zone, but lack the feathers and are practically rip off JP3. They are also hunting in numbers too large for their natural amount. It may be shocking, but as of yet, we believe Velociraptors to have hunted alone or in pairs. Another example would be that Tarbosaurus never existed in this time zone, however it is in the correct period. List goes on.

The raptors portrayed can't be Deinonychus, because their fossils are not found in the late Cretaceous, nor in Asia; they are found in the middle Cretaceous in the US. On the other hand, Velociraptor and Tarbosaurus fossils are both found in Asia (Mongolia) and in the late Cretaceous, so are arguably contemporaries. I think the confusion comes when the narrator says the Velociraptor is "two meters tall", confusing length with height. They were around two meters long, but only half a meter tall at the hip (not even Deinonychus was two meters tall). And it's ridiculous to suggest, as this video does, that even a pack of them at 30-40 pounds each would ever even think about taking on a four or five ton Tarbosaurus.
