I will NEVER buy a house from him. He said it, "let's do the bare minimum and make a quick buck" . I do not want to buy a house from a person like that. He sounds like one of the real crooks in the building industry. I am so happy he saw the light eventually. The house really looks gorgeous. I am sure they got their price.

I dunno. I'm doing what they'd call "the bare minimum" in my place, totally new hardware, redo countertops, cut the trees and clean up the garden, replace bad floor tiling, replace a vanity wash the roof, repaint everything, pressure wash everything exterior. Total cost is like $5k, not $75k. If they had my place I gaurantee they'd gut my entire kitchen, gut my bathroom, gut my floorboards instead of just sand and them, gut my garden I spent years on.

I won't buy or rent if a bathroom doesn't have a window. Did it once and never again. They're quick to destroy character, make everything sterile and remove natural light bathroom or kitchen. I wonder if this is staged (buyer's). Some natural elements would warm up the place.

Have you noticed the beds in the bedrooms when they stage? They aren't plump and comfy looking like in the linen section @ dept stores. Those beds look hard.

It seems like they do an awful lot of black and white exteriors... There was nothing wrong with the white, brick fireplace. Glossy tiles do not automatically make the house look more expensive. The non masonry chimney and vinyl windows are cheesy factors. How about $999,999.99? How about just say 1 mil? Either way, it is way too much for that place. Of course, Kevin has to do the staging so he brings in a load of plastic plants and cheap pillows and paintings... A million-dollar house with no refrigerator and a slide-in range and white cabinets from the big box store?

Unbuild and upcycle. I don't know how much more destruction and waste and cookie cutter styling I can watch, that said I KNOW this is old and not a fair judgement on the design, plus they're aiming to please many people vs a client. But the waste from the demo is terrible. Imagine if the unbuilding provided all the second hand materials for people who can't afford new homes to upcycle or build a tiny/alternative home with these older quality made pieces?

this is all fake they have been doing this for years literally. and flipping is also about using your brain you can't go all high end and spend thousands upon thousands just to make the house worth more than what is being sold in the neighbourhood. after all it isn't their personal house it is a house that has to be flipped. meaning you have to make money not loose it.
