Me too. It looked very bland after they removed the stone. They could have repaired the stucco and left the stone. A different color on the stucco would have set the stone off better.

I wish you had showed the removal of the rock from the fireplace. I have similar rock in my house and wanted to see how much effort it would take to remove it. I like how you used the quartz countertop for the fireplace too.
Busy streets are a bad choice if you have kids. Bad foundation. Not a good investment.

1. I'm totally shocked they took this one on. A corner lot on a super busy street is a hard sell. Plus, there was SO much to do on this one. 2. Since the front of the house was so loud, I wonder why they didn't create a backyard oasis to make up for it. That backyard was huge, but BORING! They could have at least added a little something to the back! 3. I wonder why stagers don't stage the yards too. It wouldn't be difficult to add a patio set, umbrella, fire pit, etc. to make the backyard more appealing.
@mesimesi23132 жыл бұрын
They usually do stage the backyard, just not on this one. Maybe to distract from noise they want the customers to stay inside.

Very plain grey exterior. Even the old stone would have caught my eye more. And you guys kept the crazy narrow galley kitchen?! And added interior railing? I think you’d have been better off to rip that out as Christina suggested originally. And to help reduce the sound could you have put up a privacy fence or hedge?
@Lacoux3 жыл бұрын
Ech hate the dark grey and nickel finishes. I guess they are trying to appeal to the age group they are trying to sell to. Also that railing is so old looking. If you were going to keep the same style should have just spray painted what was there black. I would have chosen white minimalistic railings in black and then lime washed the exterior including the stone.

Gods, I’m glad they toned down the obvious plants. “I can tell this is quality!”, “Quartz” what dude bro knows the difference between quartz and granite? Would have been better to have the old couple say it or the mother. She was the most realistic, noting the quiet in the room that faced the busy street. We know the whole point of the channel is to like a design and go buy it from Lowes or Home Depot. It’s just insulting when it’s that obvious.
