A lot of them are used commercially, so the feel of quality and being solid is natural. This boat has other specs than I would prefer, but it´s also a price-issue. The optional position of the galley is behind the helm seat. Then the front cabin access is moved over to where the galley is on this boat, which allows a bigger en-suite head. I view a raised, sentral double bed as more practical, too. This is a proper boat with really good performance. Cruise speed at over 30 knots, and everything one need in one solid package.

Is this a HiFly or just the regular fly? Also, since you’ve been on both the 37 and 46, can you explain where all the additional room goes on the 46? The basic cabin layout forward and aft seems the same. Bigger side galley for sure on 46 but where is the extra length - in the saloon? Thanks!

This 37 looks to be the Hi-Fly. It had the double rows of seating instead of the captains single and double nav seat only. I can't exactly tell you where the space and measurements differ, but I know it's mainly the Length that is increased.

I have concluded the 37 is a compromise between the less cost 35 and older 42. The 42, 44, and 46 have options to increase exterior spaces to improve the practically. The 35 -42 have similar fuel burn at about the same speeds. I'm believe my best value is a gently used 32 or 35 or 42 fif for a larger crowd.

@@CompulsoryDemocracy this is what I concluded too. As a family of four, 32 seems plenty to meet my needs, 35 was very nice but I’m wondering if 37 isn’t the sweet spot for resale value in the US. I worry that although the Targa 32 is very capable, not sure people are willing to pay so much for a 32 footer here.

@@clmb511 Also very true about the 32 and the 37. with the 37 usually being a higher spec than a 35, with a full galley aft and Hi-fly/CFC options

Both bathrooms on the 46 are slightly larger and so are the cabins. On the 46 theres an option to have a 3 cabin layout so you would have 3 double berths and 1 single. The layout is basically the same but underneath the front passenger seat theres a hidden 3rd cabin with a double berth and a little sofa.

Yes, a washing machine can be ordered. It sits underneath the floor next to the port side door.
