That poor flight... you seemed Hell bent on squishing it into oblivion and then tearing its heart out. You should have fed it to your pup to be shredded like the Elf! LOL Excellent layered split screen to show the slow-mo of the fixed and spinning stem dart flight simultaneously! Great, great stuff Cheers from New York!

I have a love hate relationship with fit flight system. I love the molded flights and the ability to spin. But I hate it whenever it snaps it breaks at connecting point where the flight meets the stem. Thus having to purchase both flight and stem together. How rugged does this system compare to cosmos and where will the breaking point be?

seems a little stronger with the stems but about the same with the flights.

@RiKFSC5 жыл бұрын
the flight is a thickness between the air and gear, the quality of the flight is good. The issue I found is that the thread that goes into the barrel is super short. (maybe 2 or 3 loops around the stem) and because of this you can't really use an o-ring. Especially when playing soft tip that thread comes loose quite easily.
@DartsReviewChannel5 жыл бұрын
Quite similar really but its still early days so will have to see if they come out with as many shapes and stems etc, would be better if not so pricey though. :)

I just picked up a set of the clear on clear with a short stem. Not sure but it seems like the clear ones might be made from a different compound? It's 2020 now and it doesn't seem like they've put out any other stem materials. Lastly, trying to figure out how to store extra flights since they are not collapsible.
@DartsReviewChannel4 жыл бұрын
Its very possible the clear is a different material as it will likely have to be made different to be clear but cant say for sure :)

@@DartsReviewChannel I'm going to order one with pigments as well to compare them. As of now I've got about ten hours on the clear ones and they're looking a bit scraped up. I curious to see how much I can get out of them before they're unusable. By the way, is there a rule of thumb as to when one should replace a flight? For example, should one replace it if there a small bite or hole in a flight wing?

Since I switched to the condor all in one system my bounce outs have vertically disappeared which is an obvious improvement on scoring also a touch lighter at the rear and was hitting board softer so I’ve put a touch more energy in my throw as a result getting a lot better return than a traditional set up plus I’m not smashing up stems every session I’m a fan 🎯🎯🎯

@@Pembolog you can't tell me that those stems cost any more than traditional ones do to manufacture. I play steel and soft tip, the conversion points are the most expensive part of the setup (apart from the barrels), and are similar price to those flights!

Yeah more pricey than I was expecting them to be which is a shame really.
@GaryPaulLynchGarcia5 жыл бұрын
I don't think it's about improving your game. Most people are wrongly focused when looking at these types of materials. What they are really for is practicality. The hassle of a flight that drops off when playing, trying to reinsert it with shaky hands is a nightmare, and playing competition with people saying " come on mate, hurry up, what are you doing? " is even worse, and then you those that use that little top bit to stop robin hoods, and the little ring or crown to avoid the flight from coming off, all little stuff, extra cost, extra work, extra nuisance. But with these systems, it takes literally seconds to put back on even for the clumsiest person.
@DartsReviewChannel5 жыл бұрын
Yes I agree but often when things like this come out most people say the same things like "if they dont make you play better what is the point?" But for me I like such systems for the exact reasons you mention as I have poor eyesight for one thing so re-inserting a flight is often fiddly and also I have a iffy back so the flights staying on is good for me, less bending down to pick them up :)

I find all these preshaped darts a con. They split so easily, and are too expensive
@DartsReviewChannel5 жыл бұрын
you mean flights, there is pros and cons with everything in darts a lot depends on what works for the individual, all flights split for me but some last longer than others but some people are very obsessive about having a perfectly shaped flight and their darts may fly best for them (although could be more a mental thing) so for them the cons are out weighed by the pros. Personally I like a lot of things about them except the price.
