@xtrmst_012 Walmart allows people to live in their parking lots. Big ole RV’s littering up the lot. Doesn’t sound arrogant to me. Let some people live in my backyard? People being dirty like they are? Nope. Thank Walmart for hosting a parking lot campsite for homeless people. Who’s cleaning up after them?

Those Target employees have approval from their bosses. This happened to Starbucks as well. Not to discount the Target employees but they were also letting upper management know of their kind actions and definitely have the green light from the top to open boxes containing TV for entertainment, food, water, blankets, new air mattresses, pillows, etc. Overall, thanks to Target and its employees and management for helping in a life and death situation. Target … you ROCK!!!

God bless you Target for making a shelter for stranded people not many stores are willing to do that. The world is getting more cold hearted so it's always good to hear about people who still have heart and care about their fellow human beings. Yes. It’s nice to see some stores stepping up in an emergency. I hope the employees there get a bonus or extra day off, for their part. They did all the work. Not all corporate big wigs recognize that in their people. I just saw this story on the news. Great PR for them!
@sonneversets3530
@sonneversets3530 2 жыл бұрын
@@pamc3338 Agree. They are in America! Speak OUR language & keep it OUT of our stores, unless you cater specifically to Spanish speaking ppl, as some stores do now. I refuse to shop or buy anything at any business that allows employees to be rude, not speaking OUR language. I had a cleaning biz for years & would hire ppl to work for/with me. When they would start talking in another language, I put a stop to it immediately. I told them were in America & working for English speaking Americans, who were paying us. NO other language is to be spoken in my presence, or theirs. If they couldn’t comply, they could leave. I caught a couple laughing & talking low to each other shortly after & fired them when we finished the job. I wanted to then & there, but I knew I couldn’t finish it on time alone. As it was, I had to go behind them to make sure it was done right. Guess they figured they didn’t have to do a good job, if they couldn’t speak Spanish. The look on their faces was priceless when I told them goodbye.😂 I did the same as a property manager for a large estate. I had to hire a large crew to paint. The owner of the biz was born/raised here & I had no reason to believe so many would be working that could understand very little English! Out of a dozen ppl, only 2 spoke fluent English, that then had to interpret for others I was trying to talk to/instruct. What a freaking nightmare! When I complained, he said he couldn’t give me more English speaking workers, as he needed at least one per job! Hello? I wound up firing them & getting a totally American run business who employed only American citizens. No problems & they were much more professional, doing a much better job. Even redoing some of the work the others did. I was threatened w/a breach of contract & told him to go ahead. I’ll just say how I was deceived into believing I had all English speaking American CITIZENS coming to do the job & do it right. Never heard from him. And I put the word out that he employed illegals that did half azzed work. Poison for any business dealing w/so many wealthy people, who were very fussy about their estates. After that, I always made sure everyone that was going to be ‘sent’ was a citizen, & able to speak/understand clear English, or they didn’t get the job. I stuck w/small, owner hands on businesses, as much as possible. As that is what I was w/my cleaning biz. I wanted a job well done, by those who felt personally responsible & took pride in their work. Old school. Sadly that was years ago, before we were totally bowing to & taking care of, everyone who doesn’t belong here. At the expense of America & all its citizens. Get used to it. We cater to all the illegals now. I will still walk out of any business that thinks it’s OK for their employees not to speak the English language & not return. I always let the manager know why I’m leaving & not returning, too. Who knows how much longer English will even be the primary language? We may all be taking Spanish lessons soon. 🙄 Not me, personally, but no surprise if that becomes the norm. I know where I can spend my money & time. Just sad that it has to be that way. Not looking forward to becoming a 3rd world country....that’s where we’re quickly heading the past 2 yrs. We’ll have a lot more than blizzards to worry about soon enough. Nationwide. Hope you know Jesus. It’s about to hit the fan....
