Could whorls on the human scalp be the result of RNA-guided transposases/recombinases induced by Sarcoptes scabiei var. hominis. Matting or felting of hair could be advantageous to infestations. So, in some cases human DNA could be targeted by parasitic agents for reproductive methodology.
