I like to use PK flutter or kastmaster spoons. (Mid- North Saskatchewan) The colour choice depends on the mood that day, but blue on silver seams reliable in most situations, but you cannot rule out gold. Good job on the review, I’ve got additions for my next trip to tackle shop! 👍

I mean jigging spoons are jigging spoons they're so simple and similar. They all work great and it's hard for a company to make a bad one. Best spoon I find for my style of fishing is a mepps scyclops with a minnow head or chunk of plastic for drag. It's big, obnoxious, and with that little chunk on the treble has a perfect sideways flutter on free fall. Stop it dead and it's a pretty heavy jigging spoon with lots of control. But that's just me.

They can be tough to find during the day. Most get caught out of really deep water...say 45' to even 60'. Best bet seems to be fishing the 45 minute sunrise and/or sunset windows. I usually have the best luck in 17-19' during those "flash bites." Good luck!
