Tarisland Has An EXTREMELY Successful Launch! My First Impressions!

Tarisland a new MMORPG came out about a week ago and has had an extremely successful launch! In this video I go through a few positives and a few negatives of the game! I'm hoping to see them clean up certain systems and I'm looking forward to what they do in the future!

@@DakotaZ162 While I do agree advertising the game as a non-P2W game and then having P2W features at launch can be extremely disappointing. The statement of you can’t have a good time without paying to be stronger is false. The game is 100% playable as a F2P player.

@@DayOneNate yeh only thing u really should buy with crystals is the weekly privilege card and u can buy crystals with gold so no problem there

@@DakotaZ162 You also are able to pay for more rolls on sub stats and what not but like I said my only issue is don’t advertise as a non-P2W game and then have P2W features. People were going to play the game regardless and now it just gives a negative talking point.

i did quit on the 5th day, as pc player, i was waiting for smthing similar to big mmorpgs but its just a mobile rpg, i dont mind some p2w the only good thing is the environnement. also i do disagree on successful launch term.

In the video I talk about the launch being successful in the terms of only having 1 server with no crashes, the content being good, the environment being really immersive. This was recorded on the 6th day and I will definitely be evaluating it in the upcoming weeks. I think there are flaws being found post the honey moon phase that definitely are food for concern!

Game is extremely un balanced lol just quit yesterday did everything challenge mode and top 100 arena it’s not a good game and is a waste of time.

I definitely think the flaws of the game are being exposed as days progress. At the time of recording this video max level had just been unlocked and I was evaluating the experience I was having. I however have seen over the last few days more and more people start to bring up issues regarding why this game could never be a long term game for them.

Most of the things are very decent and it is interesting to have a mobile-cross platform and not just console/PC so that we can manage the time better that actually is playing time. However - not having accountwide Battlepass & Premium tickets while also having timegates is awful. With timegates we do want to go on our alt characters and play and have fun, but no account wide progression is really against this. It's basically the only thing I see very important to change. There is enough of stuff for them to make money from the players to have this account wide. Keep the cosmetics character specific for sure, no problem - it's fun to get specific stuff for each character and also support with some extra money further on. But buying the expensive stuff like ticket and battle pass for every character is nonsense (even for a mobile-game tbh).

@@BubbaSvensson You hit the nail on the head with this one. There are just a lot of things that just don’t feel right when playing. The game has an extreme amount of potential with some changes, the big one being some sort of account wide progression as you said. I think the game needed a bit more time to cook and some systems to be built before the game hit the public. The one big positive of an extremely successful launch is though they now know people enjoyed the gameplay so it’s worth diving deeper into these systems.

I've been having fun too.. But the events were kinda not up to mark... Gathering cooking etc... Wanted a break from genshin.. But leaning right out side the box, >< but the rest quite enjoying it

@@akakamikuro1491 I agree. I don’t think every system and event were fully thought out but I’d expect them to make changes for the future as people received the overall gameplay very very well.

@@cameleonxxl8456 I wouldn’t be comfortable calling it that. It has a similar playstyle in some aspects but WoW has many many years of development ahead of Tarisland.
