As I mentioned above - without really understanding the structure - I don´t think that Tencent has any idea that all of this happened. @junkie9411 pointed out that Level Infinite Pass is their subsidiary, they might now what is going on, at least I had the impression that in above video the mod was a bit nervous about their reaction. Not getting any official statement by now makes the whole situation look even worse. It´s like they either choose to ignore it, don´t know about it or don´t care. If any of this is true then it´s not a good sign how the community is treated after release.

many games have volenteer mods but they arent the voices of the company they just sweep the chat and often go unaknowleged, its not normal to have volenteer mods making any statements other than providing help to players with issues and dealing with report tickets of problems in the discord. Even most employees at companies DO NOT SPEAK for the company unless they are a C suite executive or report directly to the CEO. A company as large as tencent should know better and its sad that they dont.

Asmon is really good when it comes to law and order, nice to hear that he reached out to you to help you in all this. When it comes to the discord moderator, he really doesnt have any power within the sponsor or partnership that you have with the company, since he isnt part of or a employee of the company. He can be hold accounted for trying to inform people to report your video as a personal attack against you thought, which probably could hold in a lawsuit and in his worst case, the company could sue him for damaging their reputation (pretty much like me saying im calling from microsoft but scamming you on the phone). Jeya and Laure on the other hand is employees and could be hold accounted for acting outside of their working role within the company/companies, if they scam, treat or handle fans, customers or business partners wrong, they could get fired or in some countries even sued for disloyalty (its all about the proof then). Hope that it works out in the end! Keep up the good work with the vids!

The definition of autoplay depends on the game. I think 1 click per action is standard play and multiple actions per click is still partially auto no matter how the developer defines it.

Discord is banned in China. Since the first moments in the Discord I had the impression that the Mods where not Chinese and maybe not even employed but more like Freelancers or Volunteers. The Dev team most likely might not even now about that drama, because they focus on promoting the Game in Mainland China. The 100 k registered Discord Members seems to be only a fracture of people which will play the game with the majority being from China. That´s what my friend told me who works in Hong Kong and travels to Mainland frequently. The game is advertised way different and on a bigger scale then outside China. No matter what Spid might have done wrong or not, the unprofessional way the Mod Team handled it and the fact that these mods seem to stand between the community and the Devs casts a bad shadow on the future communication between players and devs. On the other hand - as I have learned first hand from other chinese games - a non-chinese Volunteer, even employee can be struck by sudden decisions from the firm without being informed or warned. Up to "we pull the game from the market and keep it chinese only, btw, you are fired"

This video is gold. Tarisland doesn't even understand how much damage to the game reputation (at least here in the West) that mod did by joining this stream. Not only that the guy literally could not defend himself because all the proofs where against him, but Asmon was awesome to "interrogate" him and put him in the corner and admit his fault. That mod made a huge mistake to join this stream. He embarrassed himself and the game and made the game loose trust in players. After i saw the video i wrote in discord: " Nerdola, it was fun to watch you embarrass yourself for 30 min" ...he muted me for 7 days. After i dm-ed him and told him he should be ashamed for what he did and now i got perma banned on Taris channel. That Nerdola is a embarrassment for the Tarisland community. Such a toxic power abuser should not be allowed to be mod.

In addition to my other statement. A lot of players try to become moderators to get favoritism and or in game knowledge to gain leverage for themselves and their guild. This is a well-known issue upon a lot of games that are cross-platform and international because there is so much competition. So moderators will in fact shut down competition that threatens their best interest. And in return these moderators that work for free in exchange can also be influenced by the game admins to push their own political agendas. And in this case this is what I believe spid experienced. He was getting attacked by the game itself and an alliance that has a moderator that is looking for leverage. When players are able to get favoritism and leverage in game it's not a good thing especially if that player also becomes a whale.

Spid is someone we look up to when it comes to MMO. from King of kings days. He effin smart and all guilds he created was well organized and with him running raids are so enjoyable critical thinker and very competitive.

The problem here evolves around one thing. Different cultures different people with different opinions based on how they were raised playing a game that's cross-platform with no dedicated regional servers that has management managing other sections of the world. This is why games need to be separated and segregated. I don't know why gaming companies are forcing players from different regions to collaborate together. It's not necessary it's not the way it should be.

We are all human, and it’s impossible for us not to make mistakes, whether we are a streamer or a moderator. What I find embarrassing is the change of direction by a global leading company like Tencent, which surely doesn’t need to make money with P2W games unless it fears a flop. Riot Games teaches us that it’s possible to make F2P games without the P2W element. Anyway I believe this topic (the drama) has reached its limit. I enjoyed the videos until a few weeks ago, but watching complaint videos is not pleasant, especially after a 10-hour workday. I hope to see new gameplay videos about Tarisland, and who knows, maybe we’ll meet in the game. Like you, Spid, I hope this game will be successful. I can’t find an MMORPG that deserves to be played, I’ve lost motivation and attraction for any game on the market. I doubt Tarisland will be the game that will change the course of history, but at the same time, I hope it’s a good compromise to start a new adventure and stir up the stagnant waters that have been too still for many years (Blizzard). Thanks for your hard work!

I was waiting Tarisland since I saw Spid's first video about it. The last few videos changed my mind totally. After watching this for 50 minutes, I concluded that Bro was really trying hard to fk around. He is BEATING THE FKIN BUSH. He kept using the excuse “I have no clearance” that is his final defence but in reality he messed up. And bro… you must know that you have certain degrees of power when you are mod. You are lying if you say you don’t know how mod works and how big their influence in the discord community.
