@@RooneyHimself exactly fear can work on a small scale. You can make someone scared they’re going to lose their job, so they hunker down and try and do better. But when you take it to the level of what the empire does on a daily basis, which is just commit genocide and indiscriminate brutality is against billions of people. You wind up, creating a bunch of people who have either lost so much or have so much to lose that not opposing you is the stupid decision in that equation.

Kinda understandable why Tarkin disliked the Jedi so much. Imagine spending your entire life as a military man and excelling at it but then some Police officers were put in charge of you as your General. I'd be pissed too especially when said Police officers would give orders that are more inclined for Police protocols than a military one.
@lufsolitaire53512 жыл бұрын
I’d say it’s more like if warrior monks or janissaries had sway over regular army officers and units. Imagine a monk apprentice, somebody around 14-15 years old with no life experience being given any sort of position of authority again over professionally trained and experienced officers whether clone or regulars; possibly over you. Then you can understand Tarkin’s chagrin towards Ahsoka on Lola Seyu.
