Locking BP behind level 45 is a great change imo. BP has been by FAR the strongest ammo for a long time now. Aswell as the meta BP weapons like the RD-704 and MK47 just being very strong, low recoil, smooth controlling weapons...this is a really nice change imo

I used some 7.62 PP yesterday to finish up a bunch of quests that had been hanging around. Very pleased with how it functions for its price and availability. This video just confirms what I found in my own raids. Good work Mr Beef!

7.62x39 US got me good gear last wipe, just make a cheap AKM dong with a drum or a 40 rounder mag, laser and no need for sights, just iron sights, recoil is so easily controllable to land multiple hits on the head area and even on thorax it destroys armors

the AK-103 is my main gun of choice even late game. I am so glad there is now a ammo between PS and BP that is relatively accessible aswell as preforms well. a question I have is would you release a guide for players beginning mid-wipe?

I did one last wipe already, I guess things are mostly the same on that front except getting to the recent-ish stuff is now faster And @tiago, is just the short one. Bit more ergo, bit worse recoil. I prefer the 103

gigabeef quick tip here, when your pmc is coughing, heal up to full then hold your breath with ADS, it will stop ur breathing for client side, you can hear better this way, but the other PMCS will still hear it.

Btw why no one uses MCX with that new CBJ ammo which is availabile now on lvl 3 skier ? It's literally better m855a1 in gun that's way cheaper to mod and handle better than m4 or hk. It's literally best gun+ammo duo next to RD with BP or m62/m61 guns. Don't sleep on that gun guys it absolutely shreds and it's pretty cheap to run with 40 round mags. 😊

@TheMrPandabeast yes it is, dmg of cbj is 9 more with 1 less pen than m855a1. Two tap to lvl 4 and lower and 2 or 3 bullets to put down lvl 5. Recoil isn't that insane cause it has no kick at start but has more spread, it doesn't really matter that much when you play cqb/agreesive. And modding is suppressor barter and a grip and you are ready. 🙃

It's very subjective. I like 556 as well but I was surprised by the effectiveness of pp for general engagements - the higher damage helps to cut through the new spillover damage multipliers, and I don't feel like I instantly run out of bullets with a 30 rounder with 762. M855A1 is a beast of a round though so I think they're kind of equivalent but in their own ways - my gut tells me 55a1 might be slightly better overall just because the higher pen helps vs Class 5

AKM with qdc silencer is god dam beast. It's pretty expensive but u can get 40 recoil on gun that shoots pp. I was doing quests on resorts and I killed few armor 6 players with relative ez. Love that gun❤

That's legit the exact AK-103 I've been making with the exception of the optic. I use the OPK-7 (nipple sight) because apparently everyone hates it so its always cheap and for whatever reason one of my favourites 😂

The thing that makes me not like this round is that at this point i'm using 545 BT or m855a1 that even have sligtly more pen and the weapons recoil is much more manageble compared to 762x39 options. Plus the fire rate of 556 weapons is usually much higher then 762 such as akm or rd so what's the point of using slower ttk guns with higher recoil. Bp made those weapons deadly due to the insane stats of the bullet, now with the walmart pp version it's a different story

5.45BT is garbage, honestly. It has 1 more pen than 7.62 PP and god-awful damage - 13 less than PP. Most overrated round in the game IMO.

Yes the bullet does less dmg but in reality you just need an extra shot to kill in the torax most of the time, and considering that 545 guns have basically no recoil it's much easier to spray compared to akm rng spray

I feel like this ammo should have always existed. When running 7.62x39 guns, I either ran PS at the start or I ran BP at the end of a wipe. Mid wipe I rarely ran 7.62x39, now this can be bought from Prapor level 3. Tbh I feel that with the addition of so many ammunition types and calibers, it has become too hard to balance out what each level of trader sells. Some feel op to have access and some feel like they are not worth for that trader rep. I am suggesting that BSG should add more levels of loyalty to traders and spread them more evenly from level 1 to 70 or something. This could be 8 trader rep levels for each trader, but they would become much more frequent sine there are more levels to unlock. Also the very powerful end game ammunition and gear would be unlocked at an even later time. (This is my opinion. If you disagree with max level trader being at level 60 or 70, then again we could still have max level traders at level 42, but there needs to be more trader rep levels, so that nothing becomes op to unlock or unviable.)

How do you calculate the chance to kill on first second and third bullet as shown in the video?

There's armor damage in a bullets stats. That damage will reduce the armor to a pretty similar number. When an armors durability is reduced, it can get easier to predict if s bullet will pen. In short though, there's a website that does it.
