Al momento della registrazione, il mio rhodes aveva la staffa metallica del pedale fuori posto. Questa generava rumore ad ogni cambio di pedale.

Amazing, Keith Emerson is a musical hero of mine and I rarely would listen to anyone else play his music when I could spend that time listening to him play it but you have a rare ability to play his work true to form yet with your own sound. Masterful is an understatement! I usually like KZbin because I never have to concentrate on one thing more than a couple minutes. Except for listening to something as amazing and attention-holding as this. My only complaint is I can only hit the like button once.

Massimo - It is possible that your rendition here of Tarkus on the Rhodes influenced Keith Emerson. When he played with his band at Moogfest in North Carolina recently there was the modular Moog of course when they played Tarkus, but no Hammond. Rhodes sound was used. Bravo Bravo again!

There are settings on the Hammond B3 that enable 5th and 3rd harmonies that aren’t on the Fender R. BuccI is actually playing a more complex version playing the 5ths and thirds himself.

This brings up an interesting point. Why did Emerson never use a Rhodes? As far as I know, the only piano type instruments he used were conventional pianos and the Hohner Clavinet L.

+marco giacomini Grazie Marco, anche se non sono abbastanza soddisfatto per "The Battlefield". Il rhodes l'ho attaccato direttamente alla scheda audio del computer ed ho usato gli effetti di Logic: chorus stereo, multicompressore ed equalizzatore. All'epoca non avevo ancora montato il McLaren Harmonic Clarifier che rende il suono più brillante

Bell suono il tuo Rhodes 88 io avevo il 73 con un timbro simile che ero riuscito ad ottenere regolando i diapason con un cacciavite a stella, andavo a Bologna da un certo Sig.Zamboni che era un mago conosceva lo strumento e come pochi me lo accordava! Complimentoni Massimo le 2 versioni acustica elettrica sono fenomenali questa come video la preferisco(visivamente) xche ti si vede il viso la concentrazione e l'espressione sono fantastiche! Please ti chiedo un aiutino un consiglio per studiare Tarkus meglio partire a a studiare la sx o la dx ? io ho cominciato dal basso. :-) un abbraccio e grazie x i tuoi splendidi video e performance!

Ciao Alex, grazie per il tuo commento😊 Va bene iniziare a studiare a mani separate cominciando da quella che è più impegnativa...ma non sono sicuro che, in ERUPTION, la sinistra lo sia più della destra...in realtà, è più la parte della mano destra a condizionare la velocità di esecuzione. ICONOCLAST, infatti, che ha la stessa linea di basso di Eruption, si riesce a suonare più velocemente (ed è da suonare più velocemente), proprio perché ha la destra un po' più semplice. Ad ogni modo, buono studio!
