Very nice review!!! I liked that you did not influence the way people see this deck with your personal opinion. I enjoyed the video very much. ❤️🙏💐☺️

Just giving you the heads up... my intention is to only watch half of this, because I made my intention not to look at too many of Alejandro's cards before my copy arrives. Nothing is wrong about having Noblet Socks! They are awesome, and were my go-to in the last Aussie winter! And I'm drooling over the Vieville Devil socks now too!

Just found your channel! Love reviews of historical and pip decks so was thrilled to see your videos. Maybe you could do a brief video on the other historical decks that haven’t been reproduced in modern times, that you referenced at the start of this review? Would you like to see more pip/historical style decks that aren’t clones/reproductions?

That was an excellent review! There is nothing more satisfying for an artist than to see that his work is well appreciated and welcomed by those who support you. Thank you very much Justin. May the TdA give you many good readings.

It's beautiful. Alejandro is incredibly talented. It's also the only Artisan Tarot deck that I find even remotely appealing. :-)

Why did Rozan use heads for coins? I'd be interested in understanding his choice. To me, Coins would symbolize grounding and the feet would be used. But then what body part would the Batons be? Heads for Swords and Arms for Batons and Hearts for Cups. What do you think? I don't have this deck,.....yet.

My thought was that grounding or earthly practicality comes from using your head. Feet represent action. The number of feet correspond to the level of passion and work in a card. For me it works really well. Thanks Anne. Hope you are staying well 💙

@@justinmichaeltarot Thanks for such a quick reply, Michael. Yes, i'm pretty well. I have just moved across country and the stress of moving finally took its toll on my lower back. So sleeping a lot and recovering but loving my new home and environs. Thanks for asking! Best.

Hi Anne, Alejandro choose the heads for the coins, because typically there were and are heads depicted on coins. At least, thats what I read on his Instagram.

@Artisancrookedtarot I find your decks to be the ugliest graphically I've ever seen. this one in particular is wrong from an iconological and symbolic point of view it lacks sense and meaning because its author knows nothing about tarot cards or maybe he studied the tarot cards after designing the deck when he should have done it before and you publish crap with no good taste which is only good for people who accept your gifts in exchange for positive reviews on which you watch like vultures!

Hi, Justin. Thank you! This is an incredible deck. Really packed with imagery. I'm disappointed that a Cuban artist, from a country with a huge diversity of races, included none of color in his deck. I don't get it. I guess I'm going to have to design my own TdM. Thanks, again. Beautiful!

690 / 5.000 Resultados de traducción Resultado de traducción Hello! I'm the artist behind TdA. Regarding your complaint, I have to say that the TdA is a tribute to TdM where you can't find colored characters, so I followed that pictorial pattern in my deck. However, if you take a closer look at the illustrations, you may notice that although there is a skin or peach color in the deck, which can be understood as the color of white skin, the faces and hands of the human characters in my deck do not have color at all, similar to the case of the Noblet Tarot, so they are neither white nor black or any other color, so they can be interpreted as human characters of any ethnicity, as is the case of the Noblet Tarot

@@alejandrorrozan1244 Thank you for replying to my complaint. I understand that your deck is a tribute. And, although I've never seen people of color portrayed in TdM decks, except for the 4 Moors, I've also never seen feet attached to wands in any decks, either. It's your deck. You can portray whoever and whatever you wish. But please don't ask me to imagine people of color where there are none. As I said, the deck is beautiful, but non-inclusive. That was your choice.

@@francesrobinson1335 yes I did see it. It’s not my cup of tea. Maybe it will grow on me. I don’t like clip art decks typically. It looks cool tho. There actually were brown faces in some historic TDMs. Not many. Dubessette for instance has a few brown faces. It was a tarot of Lyon, in the age of Dodal. The powder white faces in TDM were likely part of the French practice of using lead-based white face paint to cover blemishes and allow themselves to be portrayed as wealthy aristocrats. In 18th century France, Pale was considered beautiful unlike tanned peasant farmers. Typically both men and women made themselves appear pale white with the use of white cosmetics. It was a status symbol and a hideous practice. Nonetheless it is why I believe that in the 18th century decks, the faces were left so pale white. The Trumps were meant to look like aristocratic people from the period. But it’s partially why the characters look so silly. It’s part of the iconic image of historic French tarot. However, I also can see clearly why some may not be interested in those decks for reading. TDM is complicated. You have to work with what makes you feel comfortable. I support you fully and I appreciate you sharing your view. I think you should absolutely create a tarot deck. Start drawing! Have you ever seen the Black Power Tarot? I wish the creator would make it a full deck. It’s really a cool modern TDM
