Oh wow, this is a different deck. I like it! I especially appreciate the colour palette that was used. The artwork is beautiful! 😍 I do love a rose petal finish on cards but I do agree that it can interfere with shuffling. Hopefully overtime the cards will get broken in and shuffle without clumping. About the Knight of Swords - maybe it's that they're such a great communicator that they're able to ask for what they want (including fetishes)? It could represent the rebellious, impulsive, daring side of the Knight of Swords, but then again it also depends on how the reader perceives this particular fetish (i.e. it might seem assertive, domineering, humiliating for some; others may think it shows trust, good communication, understanding leadership/more submissive roles in the relationship, someone who's in it for a good time not a long time, someone who's in a committed/healthy relationship who can trust each other in these roles, etc.). That said, I don't know why I find it so interesting that they both have one hand up. They're opposite hands, so maybe it shows how they're in sync, or complete each other, or are more alike despite how someone might think the roles make them opposites? Am I overanalyzing this? Perhaps, but this illustration-analysis exercise definitely brought me back to my Art History of Gender & Sexuality Studies student days hahaha

I got mine a week or so ago, and I love it! The cards clump together a bit when shuffling, but as far as rose petal finishes go, it’s not bad at all. I am also happy that I got the minimized nudity version. As much as I would prefer the more expressive images, I did get this deck with the intention of it being a working deck and this pg-rated version will be suited for a bigger pool of clients. Hugs 💞

Yes!!! I was pleasantly surprised by the shuffling. Ahhhh ok I get it but to me, it’s so strange to have selective nudity or design a deck with nudity before censoring it. They could’ve thought about it prior to the art I guess. I still enjoy this deck very much

@@BoyDiviner I thought there were two options on the Kickstarter, the nude version and the pg rated version. I bought mine after production and just assumed the nude version was no longer available since I didn’t see it on the website. Maybe I’m mistaken 🤷🏻‍♀️

There is so much about this deck that I really like...and I love a lot of the artwork...but something held me back. I recently backed another masculine deck on Kickstarter, the HeroRise Masculine Archetypes Deck. I'm still not entirely sure about that one either -- but I figured I'd give it a shot and see what I think. 😉

Yes, I held back too during the Kickstarter even though I liked 90% of it. It’s hard to articulate why - but I’m still glad to welcome it to my collection. I’ve seen that one and again i wasn’t super sure. Hope to see you reviewing it when it arrives!!! Thanks Jen :)
