Tarp and bivvi camp up on langlee crags in cheviot hill's Northumberland. Using the snugpak stratosphere bivvy and terra nova equipment Adventure one tarp.
I'm joined by Andy for The mackham mountaineer channel and Emma from Emz Adventures pops in for a chat so a cracking night was had by all.
the weather was perfect until the winds picked up but a fantastic place with amazing views and a cracking sunset.

Nice setup, I love tarp/bivvy camping although I just use a dutch army poncho instead. I carry a piece of polystyrene foam pool noodle with me and use that to create a hoop at the bottom end of a bivvy - by simply using boots to create the arch using the noodle. Ticks 2 boxes - storing your boots inside and creating an extra hoop for space.

Jimmy lad any oil related product does the midges in I use after sun, or sun lotion, oil ulay any oil based lotion man 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🕺👍they hate otoh and great for complexion put years on you man 😊

@LundysWildcampBushcraft I think as long as you're downwind of the device it seems to work. Good luck with that when your sitting on top of a hill with winds whipping round you lol. I'd give the little citronella sticks a go, though. I watched you using them on one of your recent camps.
