Dope video definitely nothin not to like about it, that first tarpon you got to the boat not only did you land it but gave em a little comfort by takin about 3 feet of leader an braid outta his jaw, wish you would’ve landed that 3rd one but in the fishin game things like that happen... 🤙🏼🤙🏼

Awesome video. That's crazy that you hooked onto a line that had it hooked! How did you get the drone footage? Did you have a drone hover above you or did someone else control it?
@justin_menendez4 жыл бұрын
I set my drone to active track and highlight the boat, this will make the drone hover over me and keep the boat in the center of the frame. Usually I'll set the height to around 100+ feet, this will keep my chest mount camera from picking up the sound of the drone. This gives me the ability to put the drone controller down and just fish.
@twotoned27744 жыл бұрын
@@justin_menendezVery unique idea that works. I am quite certain many people love the footage, including me.

how do you locate juvy tarpon back in the mangroves ?
@justin_menendez4 жыл бұрын
Hey kody, almost all the backwater canals in my area hold juvy tarpon during this time of the year. I'd look for narrow mangrove and residential canals in your area and check them out really early in the morning. Look for rolls or just fish layed up in the shadows.
@kody25794 жыл бұрын

They roll all the time around here and the dolphin are always going through here. Now trout! I've seen them suckers get sucked about out of my hand on the release! I thought I was going to loose a finger. Lol!

I'll find you mr thumbs down. That was an epic line to lure tarpon catch. Justin switch to a keep alive oxygen system. You defuse 100% oxygen into the water instead of the 20.95 % we breathe. No more batteries just a pony tank. Top it off with a sealed frozen water bottle. Additionally some foam off , Prime water conditioner and water changes I keep bait alive for days .
