Tarptent Double Rainbow Li - Thoughts after 2 years of use.

Hi. You can attach the inner door strap to the back side of the magnet that you use for the outer door strap. Then you can undo the inner door without also undoing the outer door.

Agreed. I've had the non Li version of this tent for around 16 years. It's been bomber. Weathered many a backcountry storm and high winds. The double RB Li will be my next purchase. I did pick up a couple seasons ago the aeon Li and love that tent too.

Great tent tbf. Love Tarptents. I've got a scarp ultra for 4 season use. That said, I've a zpacks duplex and at 618g Vs a claimed 870g on Tarptents website for the double rainbow li and it's a .75dcf Vs the rainbows .51 I think ( for me at least ) it's more suitable. I think it's bigger inside too but not 100% on that. I only use it for low level camping during multi dayers but it can also take a bit more stick than is claimed 😊 Thanks for uploading 😁

I had the x mid it ended up at 1100g with poles and pegs. I imagine the duplex would be around 1 kg all added up.

Hi, this could be it for me, i have a 2 pole trekking pole tent that i like but the footprint is big and that can cause issues pitching. I have a free standing 3 pole hexagonal shaped tent that i love but its too heavy. My only issue is condensation, how have you found it on this tent. Cheers for the vid

Do the poles of the tent fit horizontally in your Mo 50?

❤ the design coz I have the rainbow li, but the QC is terrible 👎 I will not buy tarptent which is made in china anymore.
