Yep, all built with Sydney sandstone of which there was an abundance. Very easy to work with due to its soft nature and being a sedimentary rock very easy to split into nice square flat slabs. I work with it everyday as a stonemason.

I commented on another video about napoleon and the Portuguese and how the British "saved" Portugal from napoleon (creating a debt to England and the fall of Portugal as an empire) whilst the Portuguese Crown moved to Brazil, I'm certain now that Portugal owned Australia at some stage (and the British took it over as payment of debt for protection from napoleon) and that so did the Dutch. Perhaps the portuguese wanted proof of napoleon's death in exchange for Australia.

This country we call Australia - has had several names over the centuries, given by different countries. Your theory is very Interesting and points to the fact, that Dutch, English and Portuguese 'explorers' from the 16th and 17th Centuries, all landed here at their particular times, but it is only the English who took 'possession' in the 18th Century? And just to use as a penal colony? There is so much more to the real history of this continent we have yet to explore. And those early 'explorers', if properly researched, would probably be found to have been employed by certain known 'companies' at that time, such as the Dutch East India Company - hence the reason for exploration to exploit new colonies. The Pope divided the known world into two, and from memory, at some time during the late 15th Century or early 16th Century. One part of the world for Portugal, and the other part for Spain. What a grand gesture that must have been to those voracious and greedy nations at the time, eh? Apparently, Australia fell into that part of the world for Spain, but it was the Portuguese who can be shown, explored and mapped New Zealand and the East Coast and parts of the West Coast of this country, and it is recorded that Portugal had already colonized parts of what is now known as Indonesia and Timor at that time - which would have given the Portuguese a 'leg up' when it came to exploring, and maybe colonizing parts of this country? Casey, all that hidden stone work at Binjminji? that you and hubby explored, reminds me of European methods and construction techniques that could have been employed by Portuguese colonists? There are similar constructions in some areas along the East Coast, and further inland, that have of course, been dismissed as natural rock formations. Just more food for thought folks - and another big well done, to the ladies!

Town hall meeting circa 1850s: "Right, we have these magnificent buildings and we need to reverse engineer so we are holding a competition for the best ideas. The ones that can accomplish this task will be allowed into our club but you will be sworn to secrecy. You will also get credit for other structures. We need to do something about the enormous doors, furniture and the lack of laboratories."

During WW2, tradesmen were exempt from conscription. Plumbers, electricians, carpenters, builders etc etc. My old guitar teacher told me this. He was an apprentice plumber in 1940. A frustrated 17 year old couldn't find a gf. Too many American Servicemen to compete with. So he practised his guitar playing until becoming a professional musician in 1949. He worked at 3DB radio until television in 1956. In 1975 he established the Jazz Guitar Study course in Melbourne at the College of the Arts. The course is taught to this day. Great episode. 👍🏿

And they were built before the Maylands & Ascot brickworks were built. I don’t know where all the big city structures got their bricks. But Ascot brickworks(that I drive past every day) took 20yrs to build. 1929-1950. And was only in use,til the 80s. Maylands brickworks has a similar narrative. 🤣Ascot brickworks is a delapidated set of 6 igloos,& 6 chimneys to nowhere(buried in mud?). Took 20yrs to construct! Wha?.. so funny

if things continue as they are, our cihldren and their children will find it hard to believe that people could once travel freely and do things without asking the government for permission. and that immunity doesn't come from Gates inc but is natural.

Hey ladies.., I think you are missing something when you say “there are no records... of deaths and births ... etc There are records ., there must be .. my parents on both sides are descendants of those who arrived on the second fleet., My brother is an ardent researcher of family history.. I can’t ask him before posting this, but I know he has traced back, births, deaths and marriages on both our maternal and fraternal lines.. in relation to the convict ships there are v detailed records in England and are then picked up here.. he has produced 2 books showing certificates of births, deaths and marriages plus land grants, including being set a free man.. etc etc I’m certain because of my brother’s work that many records survived.,, but many were also destroyed by the fire . If you belong to the First fleet club or second fleet., all the records of transportation exist..! And many after that! Everything was definitely not destroyed.,

@TartarianTruthers 2 жыл бұрын
We could have possibly rephrased that paragraph in hindsight, no, not everything was destroyed, but a lot very important records including colonial era documents, censuses etc were all destroyed in that fire, that very suspicious fire. And according to the internet no records of deaths were kept for the first 4-5 years of colonisation.

Things that just dont add up... It states that Capt cook discover Australia in 1770 ( We all know thats crap ). In less then 50 years of Australia with mainly convicts, army personals and government personals, And maybe around 10,000 farmers, Maybe around 100,000 -/+. By 1800, the population of Australia was approximately 350,000 people, and the majority of these were Indigenous Australians. Who the hell Built these buildings ? Better still who mined the ore ?? Transportation and what tools did they use ?? Where did the people come from with the education and knowledge, ?. They didnt come by boat, thats for sure. Blacksmiths for the iron that is used, like fences and buggies...Just so many Questions... All that in less then 50 years...... I dont think so.......

The queen Victoria building was finished in 1898 - there’s literally pictures of its construction online. The cemetery that town hall was built on was being encroached on by the expanding city and was being vandalised and uncared for and as disrespectful as it is, was relocated out to Rookwood. This was not an uncommon practice in emerging cities globally. If Town Hall was not built by the people who are documented and it was in fact there before 1788, who do you suggest built it? The indigenous Australians? If so why do they not have any references in their cultural history? If it wasn’t built by the indigenous but some other culture, there’s still no reference or acknowledgement of said culture or buildings.

Yes 99.9% of the population has been programmed into believing the official history . this site is meant to awaken those who are asleep. as a child grew up in Sydney and also attended sydney technical college (which is down the road from the STH) in the 1960,s . l was amazed by all those buildings. And l even climbed up into and outside a dome and took in the view. it was all quite bizarre and strange to me at the time. ..Many of these buildings have been demolished.??? l think its quite obvious these buildings were not built then, or by new settlers.
