[TAS] 5B Funny Version in

this is my first time making a tas lol, was an interesting learning experience and i think it turned out mostly okay. i can definitely notice some time loss i made earlier on when i was more clueless though, but i cant see anything major really

the version that i made this tas on is a slightly modified in dev version (only one thing is changedand this will be the official updated version whenever i finish the b side) you need to download this .bin in order for the tas to sync: cdn.discordapp.com/attachment...

basically, a teleport trigger didnt work for me, so i fixed it, but apparently it works on the gamebanana version even though im pretttty sure i didnt change anything about it on my version. either way, the different teleport trigger is what the map will use now because it is less jank

awesome map, frames go brrrr also it is just me but i find it really funny that you can customize the little speech bubbles, madeline with a happy face saying ‘what the fuck’ cracks me up also putting theo with a dash block to make a dashless room is a sick idea

omg i wanna mention a really fun fact about that room initially i thought i was wasting time due to oshiro slowdown, and i only realized this after finishing the screen so i was kinda bummed. turns out though, that the door's timer continues during freeze frames (while the ingame timer doesnt), so actually all of the bopping enemies i did ended up saving roughly FOUR SECONDS!! on ACCIDENT!! and certainly you can optimize this more, i wasnt even trying to optimize for max freeze frames

How do you hold onto the spiked corner at 1:35?

usually when holding onto the top of a corner, you'll slide a few pixels down, but that only starts happening after youve held for a few frames already (idk the exact number maybe it's just 1 or maybe it's several) so if you just ungrab and regrab repeatedly, you wont move ! this is bc each grab divides your vertical speed by 5 which quickly makes your speed extremely close to 0
