Z tends to contradict a lot of the original story’s stuff (another big contradiction involves the fact that Shenron’s power is not limited to Kami as in the original, Kami could not revive people and told them to get Shenron instead, but in Z Shenron says his power is limited to the Dragon Balls’ creator).
