Egg Mania: Eggstreme Madness (also known as Eggo Mania in PAL regions) is a 2002 puzzle game developed by HotGen and published by Kemco.
The goal is to build your way back to the top using Tetris like pieces, but the higher you build your tower without completing any horizontal lines, the more unstable the structure becomes. It is in the player's interest to stack fast without risking falling behind.
Pontus ( tasvideos.org/... ) completes the game on the hardest difficulty in record time.

Huh, this is an interesting game, I had never heard of it before. Pretty cool take on the Tetris puzzler. Instead of trying to keep the blocks down, this time you have to build the blocks up. One of those cool ideas lost to the golden age of the early 2000s.

I remember seeing this game in a 2003 Christmas catalog and wondering what genre it was supposed to be. I guess it makes sense that it'd be a falling block puzzle game.

there's a third game that uses the mascot from disney's jetix, and us heavily streamlined to the point of being barebones. i don't remember the platform tho

I still have the disc and case of this game for Gamecube. I was only good enough to beat Bomb mode on Hard. Overall, this might be fun to play for a lot of people, but not for me sadly.
