Honestly, I probably should've tried to optimize it as a nail cancel earlier to avoid the extra climbing, but the timing is super awkward with shriek, as you can't do it immediately or the first tick gets blocked by enemy s. This means you start falling a bit, so you have to arrange it so that the upslash doesn't knock the boss too far away in the interim. On the whole, though, this probably loses less than a tenth of a second and the whole fight is only a few seconds. The vast majority of the time here is just waiting for animations. (:

What if you did a tas in the future where you get all geo rocks but it's zero geo? Just a suggestion though. I can't wait to see the end result

My original idea was to do this run, but with genocide rules (you have to kill every enemy you see.) This would make the run significantly longer, though and ultimately I think it would wreck the pacing as entertainment. If it's over an hour of nothing but geo dodging, the gimmick gets stale. It would be like producing a song that's 100% repeating the chorus over and over.

How did you dreamgate out during the essence animation? Never knew that was possible. Nice to see markoth get bullied as well.

On this patch (1221), you can get early control during the essence collection using a buffered dreamnail input before the original dreamnail swing finishes. This works on all warrior dreams that don't warp you into a separate dream, though you have to be careful not to leave the room too early or you won't collect the essence.

Do you get Sharp Shadow in 0 Geo with gathering swarm or is that just for pazazz

I added it to the route for fun, though it may actually save enough time to pay for itself. Wall cling storage retains the momentum from the sharp shadow dash speed, so it makes sharp shadow wcs extremely fast. That may prove useful in white palace.
