A very early port of Mario Bros. Shame it doesn't have stuff like the how to play, arcade sized sprites, and icicles (all of which would later come in 1988 on the FDS port of Mario Bros with a sponsor attached to it), but it was a fine port for launch year NES. The Atari XL port was probably the most complete port before the later NES/FC port though.

Mario Bros. Special and Punchball are interesting games. Some fans like them, but they never had a chance to gain traction due to their release on fewer platforms and a lack of arcade versions. It didn't hurt to experiment with the established Mario Bros. formula; it just wasn't successful.
