TMNT2 is a classic beat-em-up game, featuring 4 reptiles. This may be that rare case when the Turtles can really prove they are ninjas. Because being a ninja is not about walking and fighting...
After Splinter taught his students how to teleport short distances, it was all over for the Foot Clan. Michael Jackson also taught them how to moonwalk, because this was the 80's and Michael Jackson was cool then. It never spoiled things that with 2 players the game spawns around 8/5 more enemies than with one player. The increased HP didn't help the bosses to stand that sudden turtle attack either.

The surreal thing about this tas run is that, minus all the teleporting, this looks very much like how kids who've grown up mastering this game ended up clearing it. Man we had no life.

Jump slash attacks are best attacks against the Foot soldiers even without the Tools Assists. They make you vulnerable to counterattacks from the bosses even if you land successful hits.

The funny thing is I found out the jump slash by total accident by pressing A and B at the same time. I was surprised it one shot them, but left me open to get destroyed if I abuse it.🥃

Probably pressing left and right at the same time. A lot of games didn't anticipate you could do this since you can't on a real controller, so they did nothing to account for it.

I could do the teleport with the controller back then, it's just that I couldn't controll it this well... On Level 2 I used to jump in that tight place of the car and used to go in to the healthbars when I hit the middle of the directions when going down after pizza area. was fun.

You need to press all directions on the dpad and the A button. This is completely impossible on an NES controller unless you are playing on an emulator with a different controller or tas.
