Hey I originally read this when you wrote it and im not sure why I never replied. For over a year I have had the theory about this particular challenge run. I named it "Fewest Pikmin Interactions " as it is technically correct but I think pikminless sounds better. One problem is that it's hard to define a pikmin interaction. Is swarming an interaction? A single throw? Withdrawing from the onion? Carrying one part? These are questions I'm still not certain on what would be best. Another reason I have yet to complete it is that a lot of the stuff that would be included in that challenge run have ALREADY been used in my red pikmin only series, or other series. Of course, throwing yellows at a gate would count as an interaction, so I'd need to kill beady long legs with one throw and then push the part through the gate. This is a combination of my red only strategy and A button challenge strategy, but both have already been documented. I hope you see what I mean. That said, this is why I haven't done it yet but I do intend to try this challenge some day but I will probably TAS it to get it optimal.

wow, this interests me on whole other levels. i did something similar with my hack's bonus cave, but with 101 floors, and other caves in my hack are also insane enough to warrant resets a lot. i only found this while looking for other people that played it, but i guess i'll stop looking for now while i watch this quality movie :)

ok, watched the whole thing, and now i'm really curious about floor 100. normally if titan dweevil is loaded in any cave outside of dream den, it crashes. but why doesn't it crash in emergence cave? overall, i feel i could make something of it knowing this brand new info. i enjoyed it a lot, and i even learned some new strats as well. :)

@@EBTKSPaddy The reason why it crashes in ths first place is because the music is never loaded in. This can actually be fixed rather easily by just going into the files and adding the music in.

Why not just use the Bulbmin to fight the Titan Dweevil to remove the hazardous contraptions? (Since, they're immune to all hazard types...)

I've played Pikmin 2 before; You can most certainly go straight for the stone covered hole to the next sublevel... (It's a 100 floor trial, it makes the most sense to fight the enemies on each of the floors...)

The reds took out that first emperor bulblax out with about the power of an equal number of purple pikmin. Not much of a challege to juice the floors when you're juicing the pikmin to.

there was no hack nor were there any instances where a pikmin should have died except the bomb, however there is a mechanic that keeps those pikmin blown up alive if you advance before they hit the floor.
