I'll always love how this entire game is about the Repliforce outraged that they're being called Mavericks, and yet all it took to make them rebel against humanity, take up arms, build massive laser weapons, launch Independence Day style ships over cities, destroy a city, launch to space, and aim a massive Kill Sat at Earth... was one of their officers taking offense to what was essentially a bad Yelp review.

@@uubrmanx I swear, Reploids must be running on 6502 processors. They have no brain power at all. All Magma Dragoon had to do to fight X or Zero was go to their base, Hadouken one of them, and declare he's a maverick now. Cue boss music. Then you have Repliforce starting that war. Colonel's like "We're being blamed for going Maverick because it looks like we attacked a city", General's like "what a coincidence! Last night an evil guy in a shadowy robe tried to coerce us to go Maverick and said we'd change our minds soon! What are the odds of those two entirely unrelated things happening like that?"

Because the PSX didn’t have the best hardware support for 2D sprites, relying on the GTE to display sprites (sprites are rendered internally as polygons). The Saturn had 2D in mind, and it uses the VDPs instead of relying on the 3D engine to do all the heavy lifting. There’s also more RAM and you can add more. tl:dr, PSX has no 2D hardware and less RAM.

His head's hitbox is every frame wide open for damage as it has no invincibility tim, and so he took several hits by just one slash, that's why he has been killed too fast.

Gattu Okay, month late but here we go: In this game (and most games for that matter) when a boss enemy gets hit they enter a state of invincibility to prevent a player from spamming a move and killing them instantly. Both of these quick kills are possible because of mistakes in the games code which do not apply this invincibility properly. In the case of General, he receives no invincibility at all when he is attacked in this manner, and so the saber does damage every single frame that it is making contact with his head. The quick kill of Spider works similarly, basically you can take advantage of a situation where he does not get invincibility and kill him extremely quickly.

Might as well skip that strat. This tas goes through a route that makes you get the ex tank without double jump which is about 1000 times harder than iceless itself, you will never get that jump and practicing it is pointless(: Run a route that's not based off of tas!
