[TAS] PSX Mega Man X5 by Bernka in

In an effort to avoid the status quo, Capcom decided to experiment, throwing in a leveling system and story-based launch scenarios. Beyond that, it's really just a Mega Man X Zero game.
This is the first game in the series to allow character choice before each stage. Zero is chosen as often as possible, leaving X behind to gather dust. The abusable sword physics highlight Zero's superiority, especially when the sword is used while standing on the ground. Bosses fall very quickly, even when they have 127 health. See the Game Resources page and the author's comments for an explanation of how these tricks work.
There are about 5 minutes of action in this run, which consist mostly of flying through levels and a boss rush on the hardest difficulty mode, Xtreme.
This run is 12.90 seconds faster than the previous run.
We also have a run which completes all stages and a 100% run.

I did this fight a couple times recently. And the eyeball only appeared in the foot one time. That was some great RNG

@eddyliaw82 its called saber dash cancel. It is done by hitting your saber slash, then dashing, then immediately hitting saber slash again. It makes it like a machine gun sword. In X4 it easier for a player to do compared to X5, only because you gain a move in X5 that is done by dashing and attacking and that can mess it up

William Rosado Martínez is not a glitch lol just use the enigma shot without beating any boss. pressing R1 in the selecting boss screen.

You have a 36% chance to destroy the colony. You don't necessarily need to beat any of the mavericks to finish the game.

If you talk about killing bosses, speedrunner used a trick called "Saber Dash Cancel". You may check the tutorial on YT.

Saber dash cancel, done by attacking, dashing, and immediately attacking again. Personally, I can only do it at about 25%. That speed, but I've seen some people do it about 50% that speed.
