I remember that game was a mission to ever finish. Not impossible but clearly on the same level of difficulty than the Battletoad, Gouls'n ghost and other such games at that time.

I seriously think that its much worse than those, most of the stages have intentionally terribly difficult level design... atleast in the ones mentioned you have some room to breathe.

There’s not even a secret ending on hard difficulty? They don’t even show use why Pugsly needs all that stuff you collect. Where’s the fucking payoff??? Ocean clearly never tried with their games almost as much as LJN! 😡

3 years and half later, back in 2024 i played this game from time to time, and kept getting better at some stages, advancing little by little, the bathroom level is ok, but once i reach the water section, i just couldn't, the water controls suck, and seeing that TAS also struggles there, i seriously don't feel like playing that section, it is not fun.
