i have to say that was a lot more improved than i thought it was going to be, i never knew about some of the fleep clips from before so that was really impressive, just a few things… 1. i play on the wii u virtual console and it does lag sometimes but only at the doors and not from switching from 2d to 3d why does it do that on yours? 2. why use the gold bar clip while entering the second key room but thudley jump when exiting 3. how did you discover the paragoomba clip at 2-1 to skip the dimension pipe? 4. why did you tas flex at 3-4 when entering the passwords, it was different in the original human tas without the flexing 5. do the n/a splits mean you didn’t lose any time during the splits, if not then what does it mean? 6. which gbs clip was faster, the darker one or the lighter one? 7. is the power plus no longer the fastest way to get enough coins for the flipside pipe or is it officially going to be the ultra shroom which was never used in rta speedruns? great run and all just a few questions i wanted to ask so that i can completely understand why this was so different from the first human tas run also the crash sound at 2:27:23 had me worried

1. If you’re playing casually, flipping lag spikes will almost never happen, because most of the time you are having the lag spikes happen on doors or actual loading zones. For speed running it’s always in the same place consistently 99% of the time. 2. Because it was the original way of doing Carrie skip before gold bar clipping was found, so I made a throwback call by doing thudleys instead, it isn’t really faster at all 3. I wasn’t the one who found it, it’s been a TAS strat for years, but someone made it more RTA viable and has been done RTA recently, so it was allowed to be included. Still very hard to do though. 4. Because it was funny, that’s all lol 5. N/A splits mean that the split cannot be compared to the community sum of best because it is on a different route. It wouldn’t really be a comparison if the split does 2 different things. 6. Not quite sure what you mean by this, but dark room is always faster than light room no matter how you do GBS 7. After further development of late game boss strats, it became apparent that buying mighty tonics for them isn’t faster anymore and just loses time. If you pay attention to the “New Route Time Save” right above the timer (starting in Pre 3) It will show you how much faster it is to not grab the HP plus and but tonics. This is where the N/A splits times save come from. It will change throughout the run, but the final stats show that not using the HP plus route saves just above 20 seconds.
