I found a youtube channel of a lady who claimed to be teaching mystical Islam and Sufism but all she did was leading people away from Islam. She maid ridiculous claim such as, Allah is consciousness, she was teaching about chakras, and didn't even wear a veil. Honestly I cannot even call her a Muslima. All i saw was lies in her.

@@Dhikr-Dua-Salawat-Taweez that's where you need to learn fiqh. Not all kufri beliefs or statements lead to takfir. The faqih will search for udhr, including udhr bi'l jahl and also ascertain whether or is 'ilm daduri.

To simply ban something is something any person could do. But to take time and navigate through the nuances between truth and falsehood requires courage and mental power. This is what the Shaykh is doing. He acknowledges the truthful parts of tassawuf that adhere to quran and sunnah, and clearly refutes the falsehoods. Without islamic spirituality/tazkiya we can’t truly emulate Prophet’s sunnah pbuh, because he truly had a clean and peaceful heart. Therefore I have nothing but respect for this Shaykh for his masterful way of clarifying the nuances. No wonder he commands respect. Wa Salamu Alaikoum wa rahmatu Allahu ta’ala wa barakatuh.
