I have one I bought to replace my RU4 it great recorder makes great cds from my tape recorder I make my own cds. They sound as good as people who have went to small recording studios.

Hey Brother, I bought this unit about 4 years ago to mix down my old tascam analog recordings to CD. However, that old analog studio stopped working and I was left with what looks like a kick ass piece of equipment. Just sitting. Do you know if I can use it as a burner? Putting my old store bought cd's into it and outputting to my computer? I have not seen an answer to the question, and I think I might be hoping for too much..... Thanks evan

You need a receiver and speakers, amplified speaker, or computer speakers to hear what you're recording/playback.

Does CD-text and ID3 tags support Cyrillic letters ?

Hi, I've recently got the MkII version and it's a power house, regarding finalising of the disc, is it me or is it noisy when it's doing it's job or is this normal?
