Hope you still are answering comments even though it's been a few years. I just bought the DR40 for a great price and am hoping to do Motovlogging with it as well as for my sprinkler repair business and posting to KZbin. I'll try and find your other video because I need a SD card an am not sure what size and also a mic that I can use with a gopro max 360 camera while on my bike.. Thanks and thank you for the great tutorial videos

Hey thanks a lot for your help; I want to record a dj podcast without any backround noise! I have a xone 23 mixer, with a rca and line cable that goes into the line out part of the tascam ... i am not recording with the xlr ... What is the problem ? i can hear the backround noise, i need help pleaaaaase

Have you tried different headphones to monitor? I find the output is quite low and I have tried several of my headphones.

This is as bad as the rest of the tutorials...too much slight of hand (what are you pressing?) and what if it doesn't change? I can't get past the recording level -47 -44 ...are you pressing the up/down the left right or the record button?
