Oh gosh! Technically if you are "knocked out" it is a traumatic brain injury albeit mild in this case . The speech pathologist in me wants to run down all the post concussive guidelines but it sounds like it has been over a month ago? I think Hal said "January 3rd" so he is probably quite stellar by now. Glad there's a wonderful cook-nurse-wife-sailor-videographer on board!

I was thinking TBI too when I saw him down. But he was up and answering questions and by the time we got back he was fine. It all happened really quick. And has been his normal self ever since. Yes it was about a month ago. The videos are about a month behind where we actually are.

Sorry to hear about Hal’s bicycle 🚴🏽 accident but we know he has had much worse on motorcycles 🏍️! He’s tough and will be ok, thank God! We love watching “Sailing Tashi!”! Keep up the good work and stay safe! Love you guys!🤗😘

Now that looks like a fantastic stop!!! Love the folding bikes, minus the crash, looks like a good spot for a little relaxing after the trip down the coast!! And thanks for saying the date, I'm working on dates now, starting from SF CA, and will probably spend time down the coast then a long stop with old friends in San Diego, then after hurricane season jump off for a casual trip down.

That sounds like a good plan. If you can get into Mexico right after Nov 1 then you will enjoy the trip. January and February The Sea of Cortez starts to get the North winds which gust very high and there aren’t many good places to hide. Avoid the North winds and you will LOVE it!

Maybe in a future episode you can talk about your provisioning, do you ever have any food that goes bad because you just didn’t have time to eat it. Maybe a loaf of bread they got moldy. Might be an interesting topic for other people out there.

Hal, if you have a scar from your mishap you will have to come up with some "war story" to tell people how you got it.

Ha ha, I don’t think I have any permanent scars from the accident. I’m still just as ugly as before but with a few less brain cells. 😆

Are you two thinking on doing the Puddle Jump this year? Or, are you going to hang out in the Sea of Cortez for a year first?

We have been contemplating several options including the puddle jump this year, or sailing Central America and maybe coming back up. We have no solid plan except where the wind takes is today! ☺️

Hey guys thanks for another hit video. I’m happy that the captain survived the spill 😅. I was telling my friend Tim from S/V Paquita (IP 420) about you guys and I sent him the link to your channel. I believe he’s going to get your channel out there because you guys have a wonderful story. This is the link to his channel: youtube.com/@svpaquita

We are subscribed to Tim’s channel and love his videos. He’s so adventurous and we love watching how he sails his boat. It’s nice to see what other 420 owners do with their boats. We get great ideas! Hope you are healing nicely!
