i'd re-install the video drivers, Or try using basic vga drivers to see if that flickers, i have a Nvidia 1060 and its a ancient pile of dog poo tbh, (20 years in IT) and the 1070 isnt much better - id recommend a Radeon in the future. try changing the refresh rate of the videocard also - as monitor might not like a setting

Try uninstalling everything related with Xbox windows gaming, you can do it manually but i suggest a good tool like iobit uninstaller to remove them completely. There are like 2 YT videos with the steps that could help you, just write fix w10 taskbar flickering, or flashin, or similar. Hope you can fix it ;)

Hi thanks for you comment. A You Tuber said it was Nvidia share that was causing it. I did mention in the description that it was in fact the case. 🙂

Hi.. The answer is no i am affraid. I contacted Microsoft about this and they suggested i had malware on my PC and to reformat. I did a complete reformat of my PC and it still does the exact same thing. Microsoft then kind of shrugged their shoulders and said they cannot fix the problem. They then suggested i change my Nvidia 1070 graphics card to something better (rubbish) It has nothing to do with it. Microsoft are useless
